Neutering is a surgical operation carried out in our dedicated operating theatre under general anaesthetic.

About Neutering in Small Animals

Neutering is a common procedure in small animals and can help prevent complications with your pet in the future.

    • For male animals, neutering (castration) reduces the risk of testicular cancer and prostate problems

    • For female animals, neutering (spaying) reduces the risk of mammary cancer and uterine infections

    • Neutering can also help reduce unwanted behaviours like roaming and aggression

    All of our Neutering Operation Prices include Anaesthesia, Surgery, Pain Relief for up to 5 days, and an Anti-Lick Collar if needed.


    If you would prefer a Medical Pet Shirt instead of a Collar, then you can upgrade for a small additional fee.

  • Recover time can vary, however most pets resume normal activities with few days.
